New Bio-Protection website goes live
new presence on the Interenet for the Centre at www.bioprotectorgnz.org.nz went live on Friday, 14th May, 2004. Whilst initially an information site for interested parties and bioprotectorgnz researchers, allowing them to the see the Centre's activities as a whole, the site is designed to grow in size and scope over time. Research progress, findings and activities of CoRE-Funded projects will posted, along with general centre news and bioprotectorgnz vacancies. Notices of workshops and conferences of interest to bioprotectorgnz members will also appear. The website is being maintained by Dr Terry Stewart, Senior Lecturer in Plant Protection at Massey University. Terry not only has a broad knowledge across the plant protection disciplines, but is also familiar with web-technologies. He will be updating the site with monthly news and findings, but also aims to introduce new features into the site over time. The site was designed by Matt Alexander, from Massey University's Institute of Natural Resources IT Unit.
