• Research:

  Gemma is investigating signalling in the Epichloe festucae - Loium perenne symbiotic association. She hopes to provide a better understanding of how the fungus and the plant communicate with each other to ensure the association remains stable and mutually beneficial. Her supervisor is Prof Barry Scott and co-supervisor Dr Rosie Bradshaw, both of the Institute of Molecular BioSciences, Massey University. Gemma is a 2008 Massey University Scholar.
