Academic and Professional Background

• Personal Resume: A Lincoln University graduate, Graham's career is in international trade and marketing, with a particular focus on New Zealand's relationships with Japan. He has taught economics in Japanese Universities, plus worked for the Lincoln Agricultural Economics Research Unit for ten years. A recipient of a Japanese government research fellowship and Winston Churchill Fellowship, Graham has also received an Honorary Doctorate of Science from Lincoln University.

  Graham has owned market consulting and food export businesses and is now Chairman and owner of Jatra Corporation and its subsidiary, Hi Tech Foods Ltd.

  He has served on various Foundation for Research, Science & Technology reference groups and is a Director of Kopi Holdings Ltd and Ambrosia Nursery Ltd. Graham (Ngai Tahu) assists a number of Maori trusts and incorporations.
