  Peter Kemp is Head of the Institute of Natural Resources and Professor of Pasture Science at Massey University. The Institute of Natural Resources is focussed on teaching and research in agriculture and horticulture, environmental science and ecology. Peter's research and teaching has been in pasture science, pastoral livestock systems and agroforestry. He also represents Massey University on the FRST Natural Hazards Platform Management Committee.
  
  Peter gained his tertiary education in Australia and has a PhD in pasture science from University of New England.
