  • Personal Resume: Rosie's main research focus is the application of molecular tools to study fungal plant-pathogens.

    More generally, she's interested in plant-pathogen interactions, forest pathology, mycotoxins, fungal gene clusters, forest endophytes and biocontrol, specifically with:

    • Pine tree pathogen Dothistroma septosporum
    • Peanut pathogen Passalora arachidicola
    • Eucalyptus pathogens Mycosphaerella spp.
    Rosie teaches cell biology, classical and molecular genetics (100-level to 700-level), while also teaching extension courses in fundamental DNA technology, including Massey University's annual DNA Technology Workshop and DNA Workshops overseas. In 2008, she received an Excellence in Teaching Award from Massey University.
