Forging pathways that connect people, knowledge, and whenua

This pou supports the ongoing work of reconnection with land, knowledge systems, and each other. It weaves a relational space where Indigenous knowledge, science, and research can meet to deepen understanding and guide restoration efforts that are grounded in community.

Focused on regenerating healthy environments, the pou includes work to restore native plant and microbial communities, rebuild soils, and reestablish the mauri of ecosystems. It encourages long term collaborative restoration practices that respect and uplift Indigenous relationships with place.

Through partnerships with iwi, hapū, and local communities, this pou strengthens shared leadership and explores how knowledge can be woven together in practice to protect biodiversity, heal whenua, and grow collective stewardship over time.
