I’m a Senior Lecturer in Geography at Te Whare Wānaka o Aoraki Lincoln University. My research focuses on collective action and policy change relating to environmental issues. I am particularly interested in exploring how social and environmental change can be catalysed at the grassroots via community participation, collective action and social movements. I use qualitative social science to explore case studies related to community led approaches to conservation, biodiversity loss and climate change adaptation. My hope for my research is to work collaboratively across disciplines to support long term environmental and social change that is led by and for impacted communities.
