I’m a Master’s student in Ecology at the University of Canterbury. My research looks at the coevolution between fruit flies and their parasitic wasps, with a focus on how rising temperatures might shape this interaction. Because parasitic wasps are used as a biological control tool for fruit fly pests, understanding who might “win” this coevolutionary arms race is key for future pest management.
I completed most of my undergraduate studies in Ecology at UC, finishing my final year at Massey University in my hometown, Palmerston North. Outside of research, I play canoe polo for New Zealand.
