Bàwó ni! Originally from Nigeria, I am a PhD student in the Department of Pest Management and Conservation, at Lincoln University, studying the landscape factors that influence the invasion of bird-dispersed woody weeds across Banks Peninsula.

My research, part of the Critical Pathways of Weed Invasion project, combines ecological data, spatial analysis, and field observations. I earned an MSc in Biology from the University of New Brunswick, Canada; MSc in Geography from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a BSc in Geography from Lagos State University, Nigeria.

I am passionate about ecological modelling, biodiversity conservation, and translating science into practical restoration outcomes. Outside research, I enjoy photography and nature walks.
